Nozom Services (Connector, Relay, Core, Broker, Cache, Server) require a recent 64-bit Windows operating system. Supported OS are Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012 and Windows Server 2016. For unsupported trials, the software can be installed on Windows 7/8 Professional (64-bit versions) and Windows 10. Connector services (data source integration) might be installed on desktop operating systems in case need be. 

To be able to connect to legacy systems, a 32-bit version of the Connector is available that supports operating systems down to Windows XP SP3. 

system:Nozom can run on physical servers as well as virtualized servers. Tested platforms are Microsoft Hyper-V, VMWare and Oracle VirtualBox.

The visual product component – Nozom DataStudio – requires a 64-bit Windows Operating System providing support for .NET 4.6.2. It does not require installation in the classical sense, but can be deployed in portable fashion (no Admin account required).

system:Nozom is licensed applying a single scale factor: The number of software threads which might run in parallel in Nozom service(s).

There is no additional fee for data sources, I/O objects, historian objects, users, user interfaces, system interfaces, OPC servers and other servers system:Nozom provides, or specific software features in system:Nozom. And never will be.

Depending on your application and data processing volumes, you may choose the appropriate Core license – optionally any additional database licenses – and use all other software features freely.

 License prices only refer to computers running Nozom services (servers). Customers may install all other services on any number of physical and/or virtual computers according to the infrastructural requirements.

When a customer enters a yearly subscription, the current subscription price is fixed for the entire lifecycle of the subscription agreement. Subscription customers do not partcipate in price increases, Nozom might or might not apply with future releases. Only general inflation adjustments may apply in such cases.

Support and Maintenance renewal applies only to the License Purchase type, and only on request. It is billed at 20% of the License purchase fee per year. The first year is always included with the purchase.
